Video Games Chronicle reports that IO Interactive has released patch 1.1.0 for 007: First Light, the first content update in the game’s Year One roadmap. The update is now available across all platforms and gives current players access to additional Tac Sim content, including new missions, weapons and an outfit.

According to VGC, the patch adds two three-tier Escalation missions, titled The Workshop and Extraction Avenues. It also introduces three weapons: the Stormberg 50’cal handgun, the DRX-2 Machine Pistol and the DRS-7 Silenced SMG. IO Interactive says the update also includes a range of fixes and improvements based on feedback, while the full patch notes cite changes addressing more than 200 issues flagged by community members and internal play testers.

The download size varies significantly by platform. VGC says the PlayStation 5 version is about 24GB, while the PC and Xbox updates are each under 4GB. The release follows IO Interactive’s June reveal of a Year One content roadmap for the James Bond title, setting up post-launch additions intended to keep players engaged beyond the base game.

VGC also notes broader context around IO Interactive, including recent funding cuts for the studio’s Project Fantasy following Microsoft and Xbox restructuring. The outlet’s review by Jordan Middler was highly positive, calling 007: First Light a standout Bond game and praising its translation of the franchise’s action, spectacle and tone into a globetrotting adventure.
